Sandman (LEGO Marvel Super Heroes)

William Baker, better known as the Sandman and Flint Marko, is a minor antagonist and playable character in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. He is an enemy of Spider-Man and works with many supervillains to help Doctor Doom take over the world.

In LEGO Marvel Superheroes, he was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who also voiced Doctor Octopus in the same series, Electro in Spider Man 2: Enter Electro, The Delightful Children From Down The Lane and Toiletnator in Codename Kids Next Door, Crosshair in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, General RAAM in Gears of War, Letz Shake in No More Heroes, Death in Dante's Inferno, Ra's al Ghul in the Batman: Arkham series, and Gravemind in the Halo series. In LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2, he is voiced by John Guerrasio, who also voiced The Brickster and Vinnie Pappalardo in other LEGO projects.

Past[]

William Baker was originally a petty robber. He would later break out of prison and escape to a beach that the U.S. government was testing a nuclear weapon on. Baker would fuse with the sand particles and turn into a shapeshifting being made from sand, signaling his beginning as a supervillain. He would also join the Sinister Six, and cause crimes with other known criminals.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes[]

Sandman and Abomination would take over Grand Central Station and take Hostages to use them as bargaining chips to get the Cosmic Bricks. After Abomination was defeated, Iron Man and Hulk would enter the Grand Central Station. Sandman would be grinning at them appearing. He would use his Sand Hands to attack Iron Man and Hulk. Hulk would throw various objects at the Sand Hands, defeating them. Sandman would create the Sand Train so that his goons would attack Iron Man and the Hulk. They would defeat the Goons and destroy the Train. Sandman would create a large Sand Castle Barrier but they would destroy it as well. Sandman would create a sand fortress but Iron Man and Hulk would destroy it. Iron Man and Hulk would be launched out of the Station by Sandman. Spider-Man would help Hulk and Iron Man. Sandman would turn Giant and fight the trio. Sandman would be defeated by them and be arrested by the Police. They would also take Sandman's Cosmic Brick. Sandman would be unlocked as a playable character.

Sandman is a Caucasian man with brown hair and black eyes. For clothing, he wears a green shirt, beige pants, and a brown belt with a yellow buckle.

Personality[]

Sandman is arrogant and cocky. He makes puns while in battle and is shown to be very petty.
