Biography[]
One day, Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon's team are called to another crime scene. A tied-up girl's body was found. She was strangled. Patrick believes that the murder was not planned. He suspects an attempted rape that went awry. The police establish the identity of the murdered woman and question her colleagues and relatives. They very quickly find a suspect. This is Hector Ramirez, the murdered woman's ex-boyfriend. He is a drug dealer. The deceased's brother wants to kill him. But Patrick decides to double-check everything. He finds a motel room where the murdered woman was supposed to be brought. Grace Van Pelt, who matches the type of murdered Melanie, acts as bait. A local sheriff named Thomas McAllister, who is also involved in the investigation, approaches her. He makes suspicious hints. Then Rigsby and Cho attack him and Teresa Lisbon goes to cover for them. Patrick is left alone in the room, where the killer is about to arrive. The killers turn out to be Sandra and Malcolm Boatwright. They owned the restaurant where Melanie worked. They bring another girl to their room and are going to rape her. Patrick tries to stop them. Luckily, Teresa returns and kills Malcolm and Sandra.
Trivia[]
- The episode they appear is the first episode where Red John appears (as Sheriff Tomas McAllister at least).
