~ Jimenez justifying killing Laura Moser.
Santos Jimenez is a major antagonist in Showtime's Dexter television franchise.
In Dexter, he was portrayed by Tony Amendola, who also voiced Yousef Salim in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Shaun in Fallout 4, and Niccolò Galante in Mafia: The Old Country. In Dexter: Original Sin, he was portrayed by Randy Gonzalez.
Jimenez was a drug dealer and enforcer working for drug lord Hector Estrada. Estrada began to suspect that one of his customers, Laura Moser, was a police informant and sent Jimenez to stalk her and uncover the truth. When Jimenez saw her meet with her lover, Detective Harry Morgan, he reported to Estrada that she was a snitch. Estrada, Jimenez and fellow dealer Welsh then went to take care of her.
Murder of Laura Moser[]
Jimenez, Estrada and Welsh abducted Laura, her sons Brian and Dexter and three unnamed snitches and took them to a shipping container. Jimenez then entered the container and butchered all of them except Dexter and Brian with a chainsaw before fleeing with Eliso and Estrada. Estrada and Jimenez were later put on trial for the murder, however Estrada was later paroled and Jimenez was able to cut a deal with the police that would get him acquitted of all charges in return for evidence against Estrada. Jimenez was released and lived until his old age, when he bought a bar called The Swamp. The murder is featured in flashbacks throughout the series.
In the series[]
In the episode "Resistance is Futile", Dexter visits Jimenez's bar to confront him. During their conversation Jimenez got suspicious and grabbed a baseball bat, but Dexter snatched it and beat Jimenez to a bloody pulp. Shortly after, Jimenez sold cocaine to felon Jose Garza, however he did not actually deliver the drugs.
Later, in revenge for him ignoring her, Lila West gave Jimenez the address of the bowling alley Dexter would be going to. When Dexter left the building, Jimenez was waiting with a knife and attacked Dexter. Luckily, the men on Dexter's bowling team intervened and stopped him, although he was able to escape. After this, Dexter followed him to his cabin and turned the radio on in his car to lure Jimenez out before injecting him with a powerful tranquilizer. Dexter then strapped him to a table and duct taped his mouth shut before killing him with a chainsaw.
