Sasha is one of the main antagonists of the Manga/ Light Novel series Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, but Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out for Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World. A Light Elf born from a nobleman and a commoner, Sasha was treated as an outcast among her family. She gladly took the mission to see if the human Light was a divine protector of the humans called a Master by joining Concord of Races.
In the anime, Sasha is voiced by Ai Kayano, who also voiced Kyoka in Fairy Tail.
History[]
Because of her heritage, Sasha was regularly mocked by her various siblings. As a result, she wanted to be better than them by any means, even marrying into royalty. She got her wish by being offered an alliance by the world's governments to judge the human Light, a boy with a power called a Gift, to see if he was a Master. Light's power was to summon random cards to help him, although they were absolutely useless to everyone. The plan was to create the Concord of Races, which officially was to promote peace between the 9 races of the world with Light and Sasha as members. To add to the illusion that Light meant something to them, Sasha faked romantic feelings for him.
After some time traveling, the remaining members and Sasha agreed that Light's gift of Gacha, wasn't worth anything. Deciding to get rid of the human, The Concord of Races took Light to Abyss, a high-level dungeon where they revealed their treachery and attempted to kill him. Sasha herself gloated and even shot an arrow through Light's leg. While trying to escape, Light had accidently triggered a teleportation trap, forcing him deeper into the dungeon. Believing to be successful, Sasha and the others departed back to their home countries where Sasha herself was recognized as a hero amongst her people.
Over the course of 3 years, Sasha had been engaged to a nobleman named Mikeal who worked closely to Queen Mast. Sasha had finally obtained her lifelong goal of happiness, using the various human slaves of the kingdom as she saw fit. However, this came to a crashing halt one day when a mysterious new dungeon called Giant's Tower appeared nearby. Sasha was dispatched in a party consistent of herself, Mikeal, the Queen's son and Captain of the Royal guards, Hardy, twin fighters Nia and Kia, another archer, Sharphat, and the knight Mast. On the way over Sasha panicked seeing a boy named Dark, who she mistook for Light. After being proven wrong she left.
Upon entering Giant's Tower, Sasha and her comrades are separated via a teleportation spell whit she and Mikeal transported to the Tower's throne room. It was here they discover that Dark was actually Light. He had survived Abyss, and his gacha ability was boosted, allowing him to summon incredibly powerful allies and weapons when needed and was Level 9999. Sasha began to panic as this would mean that she and the rest of Concord of Races failed and that their perks would be taken away. Having been shaken out of her stupor, the lovers would fight, with minimal results against Light's powers. Seeing how bad they were losing Sasha brought out a powerful enchanted Ocarina, which would summon angel warriors to fight for her. This would prove ineffective as Light brought out a cursed sword which destroyed her forces almost effortlessly to the point the ocarina shattered in her hands.
Any hope Sasha and Mikeal had to defeat Light were quickly destroyed when Light's other allies had brought the defeated form of Sasha's party into the room. Desperate, Mikeal would attempt to abandon Sasha claiming that he saw Light as a powerful god, which Light didn't accept. Mortified at how quickly Mikeal rejected her, Sasha would attempt to beg for Light's forgiveness, attempting to remind him of the good times they shared as party members. Light however still showed no forgiveness, and instead took the arrow Sasha shot him in the leg with 3 years prior and stabbed her in the same leg.
Defeated, Sasha would be taken back to Abyss, while one of Light's party members, Mei, appeared in town as the protector of Giant's Tower, demanding the release of the human slaves in exchange for Hardy's return, which the Queen reluctantly agreed to. It was mentioned that without human slave labor, the Light Elf kingdom became a rat and disease infested hovel in a week because they didn't know how to clean up after themselves.
