The Sasquatch is a major antagonist in the Smiling Friends episode A Allan Adventure.
He was employed by Mr. Landlord to steal Allan's presumed box of paperclips but is later killed by the captain of the skeleton pirates.
Appearance[]
Much like the common depictions of Bigfoot, he is a giant, ape-like creature with brown fur, tan skin and a bare face, hands, and feet. He also has yellow eyes.
Personality[]
He appears to be a curious character who likes collecting and hoarding things, as he is seen fascinated by Allan's paperclips before running back into his cave filled with other miscellaneous items. He was also wrathful after catching Allan trying to take them back. Despite being a wild forest creature, he exhibits anthropomorphic behavior, such as expressing his satisfaction after reliving himself in the forest.
Biography[]
After Allan crash-lands into the forest, the Sasquatch snatches Allan's box of paperclips before scurrying away. He tosses it into a heap of junk inside his cave before wandering off to relieve himself on a nearby tree, much to his satisfaction.
Seizing the opportunity while the Sasquatch is distracted, Allan enters the cave to reclaim his paperclips. However, the Sasquatch catches Allan in the act and lets out a furious roar. Startled, Allan drops the paperclips onto a pile of bones, which suddenly animate into a skeleton pirate. As the Sasquatch charges back in, he is decapitated by the pirate's sword.
Trivia[]
- Although the Sasquatch got decapitated in the episode, it's unknown whether or not he's truly dead, as Mr. Landlord had stated that all the obstacles Allan encountered were all made with "paid actors and animatronics." His "death" either was faked with practical effects, or the Sasquatch himself was an elaborate animatronic with fake blood and a detachable head. There's also the possibility that Mr. Landlord simply had him killed for the sake of the plan being more elaborate than it needed to be.
