Lucifer, commonly known as Satan or The Devil, is the main antagonist of the 2022 supernatural black comedy animated sitcom series Little Demon. He is the ruler of the underworld and the father of Chrissy.
He was voiced by Danny DeVito, who also played Sam Stone in Ruthless People, the Penguin in Batman Returns, Bobby Ciaro in Hoffa, Harry Wormwood in Matilda, Mr. Swackhammer in Space Jam, Burke Bennett in Death to Smoochy, Frank Reynolds in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and a possessing Hatbox Ghost in Haunted Mansion.
Biography[]
Satan, due to being immortal, has been around for eons while plotting to accomplish Maximus Dawnus, an apocalyptic event where he would combine all dimensions with the human realm so he could rule over. During that time, he had also made several deals with others including Asmodeus. Asmodeus gives Satan everything he had valued including his family in return for being at Satan's side once Maximus Dawnus begins. However unbeknownst to him, Satan had deceived him and murdered his family.
Thirteen years prior to the series, Satan impregnated Laura Feinberg resulting in the birth of their daughter Chrissy. In order to escape from the Devil and his forces, Laura trained extensively both mentally and physically and relocated into different towns. Unfortunately for her, Chrissy would begin to develop her Antichrist powers. During her first day of seventh grade, Chrissy has her first period which opens a portal over the town and alerts Satan to her whereabouts.
This would lead to Satan and his ex Laura to battle each other for custody of Chrissy. After the battle, this would result in the two coming to a begrudging agreement when it came to visiting hours with Chrissy.
