Satan, also known as the Man Downstairs, is the overarching antagonist of the 2024 crime horror film Longlegs.
He is the Devil who is responsible for the murder spree caused by his fanatical worshiper Longlegs and his accomplice Ruth Harker.
Overview[]
While he mostly remains in the shadow for the rest of the film, there are special occasions where he can be seen. It is implied that he was the reason that Lee Harker had precognitive powers, whether it be an intentional or unintentional side effect of Kobble's rituals, or even God empowering her to defy Satan's designs.
Satan is portrayed as a popular portrayal of the being, a goat horned being. Its body is in black with a shadowy aura around him with some slight color of his horns being visible. He appears to be a tall being with long out goat ears.
