Satan Cross is a minor antagonist in the anime/manga series Kinnikuman.
He is the Advance Guard of Team Super Phoenix who is led by Kinnikuman Super Phoenix, one of the Five Fated Princes who act as the main antagonist force in the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne Arc.

Past[]
Satan Cross, originally known as Teacher Samson, was the official tutor for the young Prince of the Demon Realm, Ashuraman. Teacher Samson would try to impart all of his wrestling skills but also the kindness and mercy that Ashuraman had never been taught before.
One day, Ashuraman would fall into a fast-moving river and would be nearly swept away, however, Teacher Samson would dive in and save him before being carried away by the currents himself before falling down a waterfall. After falling down the waterfall, Teacher Samson's legs would be completely broken, leaving him for dead until he was found by the God of Intelligence who would tell Teacher Samson that his heroic nature is what almost killed him and that he should act more heartless in order to survive in the world. The God of Intelligence would then fuse a demon parasite into Teacher Samson's legs, allowing him to survive while also giving him two more legs and a head on his stomach after three days.
After this, Teacher Samson would start going under the name Satan Cross.
Kinnikuman[]
Satan Cross would be tasked by the God of Intelligence with working for Kinnikuman Super Phoenix, becoming a member of Team Super Phoenix as a way to pay off the debt he owed to the God for saving his life. Satan Cross would watch as both Mammothman and Super Phoenix disposed of Team Big Body.
Satan Cross VS The Ninja[]
At the beginning of the second round, Satan Cross would fight against The Ninja. Satan Cross would hold the advantage in terms of sheer strength, however, The Ninja would set Satan Cross on fire, who would respond by quickly leaping on the rafters above the ring and throwing a dummy down, revealing to The Ninja that just like him Satan Cross had undergone ninjutsu training.
Satan Cross would throw down a sheet that would spray water everywhere, making a thick layer of mist that he would use to his advantage, attacking The Ninja from where he wasn't expecting and dodging all of his attacks. Eventually, The Ninja would try attacking Satan Cross clinging to a nearby pillar but this was another dummy. The real Satan Cross would appear from The Ninja's shadow and piledriver him to the ground.
The Ninja would then make a series of webs from his ninja uniform that spread everywhere to tangle up the real Satan Cross and deliver a kick to his head, however, now that his uniform couldn't protect him, Satan Cross would make it night with a cloth and make a small ocean in the ring which he would use to drown The Ninja by holding him underwater. The Ninja would escape by spitting out a large amount of water to launch Satan Cross into the ceiling and throw him into the night ocean before The Ninja froze it and used ropes made of ice to tie up Satan Cross, ready to split him apart with the tightening ropes.
Just as The Ninja was about to win, the day turned to night and the ice melted. Satan Cross would then split from his parasite and the two would use a wrestling hold to stretch The Ninja's body, ripping open his stomach and killing him.
Satan Cross would then approach Super Phoenix, being praised for winning the fight as he expected, even if he took a little longer than Super Phoenix would have liked.
Satan Cross VS Ashuraman[]
Immedetially after The Ninja was killed, Ashuraman would step into the ring and would try to beat Satan Cross down, however, he would simply dodge the attacks before telling Ashuraman that he knows all of his moves. Ashuraman was confused as to how he knew all of this until he hit Satan Cross hard enough to break open his outer body, revealing his real face and identity as Teacher Samson.
Ashuraman would start to panic and use his Ashura Buster to win the fight, but Satan Cross would throw down a sheet to make a sand pit where Ashuraman would land, negating the attack. Ashuraman was being spurred on to avenge The Ninja, however, Ashuraman couldn't bring himself to kill the mentor who saved his life. Satan Cross would then explain how he survived and how he chose to become more cold-hearted after his stroke with death.
Satan Cross manipulate Ashuraman over to Team Super Phoenix but he refused, wanting to avenge The Ninja.
Kinnikuman (2011)[]
When the Choshin invaded the Earth to kill all Chojin, Kinnikuman Super Phoenix would have Satan Cross revived and would apologise to him before explaining the situation and sending Satan Cross and the rest of the members of Team Super Phoenix out to kill the Choshin.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Chojin Physiology: As a Chojin, Satan Cross has superhuman strength, speed and durability. Other abilities that Chojin have that Satan Cross likely has is the ability to grow to be as large as a building and the ability to fly without wings or thrusters, even in the vacuum of space.
- Four Arms: Unlike most Chojin, Satan Cross has four arms. Satan Cross is able to use these arms just as effectively as any other Chojin can use their two arms. The advantage that two additional arms grants Satan Cross is more unpredictable attacks, his grapples being able to hold more parts or limbs of an opponent and make all of his slams, lariats and throws hurt more.
- Ninjutsu: Satan Cross has Ninjutsu training, allowing him to deploy tactics such as making a body double, putting down a sheet which can mimic any environment that Satan Cross wants or hiding in someone's shadow.
- Demon Parasite: The bottom half of Satan Cross' body is actually controlled by a parasite that was given to him by the God of Intelligence. This demon parasite would grant Satan Cross two additional legs. The two are able to split apart, allowing Satan Cross to tag team almost any opponent. The parasite can be killed which removes the two additional legs but Satan Cross can still walk.

- Satan Cross, much like most Kinnikuman characters, is a fan-submitted design from Yasunari Kazuki of the Saga Prefecture.
- Satan Cross' name is a pun. In Japanese, his name is written as "Satankurosu" which is a slightly altered version of the word "Kentaurosu" which is Centaur in Japanese.
