Satipy is a supporting antagonist of Agatha Christie's 1944 historical mystery novel, Death Comes At the End, and the second victim of the story.

Satipy is the the domineering and verbally abusive wife of Yahmose, who was killed shortly after the death Nofret on the same cliff the latter died, while walking with her husband. It was claimed that she saw something above her husband that frightened her, causing her to fall.

History[]

The darkness within the family of Imhotep was stirred when Imhotep married Nofret as his new wife, causing everyone in the family to despise Nofret because of her domineering nature. Satipy and Kait, the two elder sons' wives, try to bully Nofret with tricks, but the plan backfires when Nofret appealed to Imhotep and he threatened to disown his sons and their families upon his return.

At the wake of Nofret's death, Satipy became the next victim during a walk with her husband. It was rumored that Nofret's vengeful spirit had took her life, but by the end of the story, it was revealed that the murderer was actually her husband, Yahmose. As Renisenb realized when Yahmose attacked her, Satipy was not looking above her husband before she caught a fright, but looked straight into him, upon his face with murderous rage before he ended her life.

It was revealed that Satipy knew the identity of the murderer and was actually willing to help him maintain his secret, but she risked revealing said secret by talking in her sleep and being overheard. As a result, Yahmose killed her.
