Biography[]
Sauron is plotting to trigger an eruption from a super-volcano in the Savage Lands. Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. arrive in the Savage Lands and engage an army of Pteranodons under Sauron's control. The Agents of S.M.A.S.H. prepare to blast the army, but Sauron absorbs their power, regaining strength and using a ray to escape before the ship is attacked, causing it to crash. Meanwhile, Sauron rides the Devil Dinosaur and encounters A-Bomb and Red Hulk, revealing his plan while leaving with Devil Dinosaur to eliminate them. However, Hulk intervenes and rescues them, and Devil Dinosaur is being controlled. Sauron returns from the volcano, using mind control to direct Skaar to attack She-Hulk. He then absorbs power from both Skaar and She-Hulk, making him bigger, stronger, and more muscular. The rest of the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. must stop Sauron by destroying the machine that he is using for his ambitions. In a fierce fight, Hulk smashes the ground, sending Sauron flying toward the machine. Just before escaping, he gets punched by Hulk into a lava pit, but manages to survive. As he flees, he notices the uncontrolled Pteranodons attacking and vows that the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. will pay for this defeat.
Sauron, now fully awake, summoned sea creatures to aid him in an attack against the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. As She-Hulk warned everyone not to get too close, it was already too late. Sauron absorbed the powers of Impossible Man, becoming even more formidable. In a fierce battle, Sauron grabbed Half Hulk and Red Hulk, but they broke free and began throwing punches at him. In a surprising twist, Sauron grew additional heads, reaching a total of four. Skar stepped in and landed multiple punches, causing Sauron to crash through the remnants of the Cranium. In a desperate move, Sauron summoned Fin Fang Foom to bolster his strength. However, as he tried to absorb Fin Fang Foom's powers, the mighty dragon retaliated, smacking Sauron and sending him flying into the ocean.
Sauron is joined by Abomination, along with other villain members of the Agents of C.R.A.S.H., to take down the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. He targeted Skaar, causing damage to buildings. After that, A-Bomb confronted him, and during their clash, Abomination slammed him into the wall, leaving him unconscious. The C.R.A.S.H. members were hidden and couldn't see what happened, forcing them to flee while the world blamed the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. for the destruction of the only city that had ever loved them. However, it was all part of Abomination's plan to frame the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. and cause further damage to their reputation. Meanwhile, Sauron, who was also part of the scheme, was nowhere to be seen, likely having escaped along with the other villains.
