Saw Gerrera is a major anti-villain in the Star Wars franchise. He was originally the second-in-command of the Onderon Rebels during the Clone Wars where he and his sister, Steela, lead the rebels in their armed resistance against King Sanjay Rash and the Separatist occupation of Onderon throughout the war and was an ally to the Galactic Republic.
He is portrayed by Forest Whitaker, who also played Rawlins in Bloodsport, John Kavanaugh in The Shield, Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland, Jack Wander in Street Kings and Bumpy Johnson in Godfather of Harlem.; and voiced by Andrew Kishino in both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Bad Batch, who also voiced Izuma in Star Wars: Visions.
Training, a probe droid found out where the rebel camp was and a Separatist force was sent in and attacked the camp while the other rebels were still in training. During the battle, Saw was able to hold his ground and even worked together with Lux Bonteri where they held their ground and after a second wave came in, they successfully took out an AAT that was sent to destroy the camp. After the battle, Saw and other rebels snuck into Iziz and found a secret place to act as their headquarters.

Trivia[]
Due to blowing up Tarkin's compound and not caring if he indirectly got Tech "killed" in the process during the two-episode finale of The Bad Batch's second season, Saw became increasingly hated among the Star Wars fanbase, with some saying that his death in Rogue One is now justified.
This, along with more of his atrocities in Rebels and Rogue One, allows him to be considered a villain on the Villains wiki despite his status as mostly an anti-hero.
