The Saw Villain, also known as Billy, is the main antagonist of the 2006 horror parody comedy film Scary Movie 4. He is an alien being who is a parody of John Kramer from the horror film franchise Saw.
He was portrayed by Laura Dash and voiced by Craig Mazin.
Biography[]
Not much is known about the Saw Villain. Unofficially named Billy, he is an extraterrestrial being originating from an unknown world from beyond the Earth's star system. He came to Earth and fathered a son, Toshio Saeki on a Japanese woman named Kayako Saeki. Toshio was later adopted by Henry Hale, Kayako's husband.
Scary Movie 4[]
Billy first appears at the start of the film, where he kidnaps Shaquille O'Neal and Dr. Phil, and has them to chained to pipes in a bathroom. He then reveals himself and states that a nerve gas is being released and that the only way that Shaq and Phil can free themselves is by to make a basket and get the saws. However, they fail when Dr. Phil cuts off the wrong foot.
Upon hearing that Toshio had died in the course of Cindy Campbell's boxing match, Billy sought revenge after the death of his son and unleashed a Tripod attack upon Earth using weapons to disintegrate humans. After he captured Cindy and Tom Ryan, he taunted Tom with grammar-school level tortures. Later on, he realized how much they cared for each other and was touched by their sacrifices, which forced him to cease the attacks.
Trivia[]
- Billy's motivation to start putting people in traps due to his child's death would end up being used as a similar origin story for John Kramer/Jigsaw in Saw IV, which shows his descent to villainy began after the death of his unborn child. John Kramer's origins in Saw IV came about a year after Scary Movie 4 was released.
