Scar is a minor antagonist in Gothic. He was a convict in the Colony and Gomez’s loyal minion. Later he became an ore baron and Gomez's personal bodyguard along with Artho.
Biography[]
He got his name from the scar on his face. He was taken to the Colony, where he had to mine ore. King Rhobar's thirteen mages created a magic barrier, which in turn trapped them as well. This distracted the king's guards and it was then that Gomez and his minions attacked them. The king's guards were slaughtered. Scar also took his share of this.
He took part in the uprising, he also killed some of the king's men, so he won the trust of Gomez and Scar became an ore baron. He became Gomez’s personal bodyguard alongside Artho. In the Old Camp he was the fourth most powerful man, the first was Gomez, the second was Raven and the third was Bartholo. However, their power weakened when the Old Mine was collapsed and so they could no longer extract more ore. Gomez gave an order to attack the Free Mine, which was opposed by the fire mages. Then the ore barons killed the fire magicians who were in the castle. After one of Gomez’s experienced fighter, Jackal set out with his group to capture the Free Mine, Gomez locked himself in his castle. He accused Stone, the best blacksmith, of treason, whom he imprisoned and Scar guarded him. However, the nameless hero returned to the Old Camp to punish the ore barons for their actions. When Scar heard that a fight was going on outside, he ran out of the prison and found himself facing the hero. Here, Scar lost and died.
Personality[]
Scar was one of Gomez’s fanatical follower and a conceited, domineering ore baron. He could almost talk about how much power Gomez had and he was the most powerful man in the Colony.
Powers and Abilities[]
Scar was one of the stronget warrior of the Old Camp. He had a very sharp sword, which required great physical strength. He was the only ore baron who also used crossbow.
