Scarlet Helsing

Scarlet Helsing is a red-haired vampire girl from Redlands, living 200 years ago. When she went to Riverdale High in daylight, she disguises herself in human form. Appears in three Archie's Weird Mysteries episodes "Scarlet Night", "I Was a Teenage Vampire", and "Halloween of Horror".

Arriving at Riverdale, she beat up two vampires who tried to kill Archie and Veronica. Eventually she was revealed as a vampire, and tried to kill Archie, but Veronica, who was seemingly the ender who would destroy the vampires, used a mystical amulet to destroy Scarlet's two vampires, and seemingly Scarlet as well.

However, Scarlet faked her death by transforming into mist, where she and the vampire Nilnewz dug up the vampire master, Medlock, whom Scarlet was in love with. Nilnewz turned Veronica into a vampire, but when Medlock fell in love with Veronica, Scarlet became jealous and told Archie and the others that to restore Veronica they must destroy Nilnewz. This was successful, then Veronica turned Medlock old and toothless. Scarlet remained in love with him and they left together.

However, Medlock betrayed Scarlet, sucking her life force and youth to regain his power. Scarlet went to Archie and the gang, initially thinking there was no chance of stopping Medlock. She realized the power of friendship with them, and Medlock didn't pay her much notice, thinking she wasn't worth the trouble. Medlock turned the gang, including Veronica, into vampires, but the sun rose anyway, as Scarlet was the true ender. She destroyed Medlock with sunlight, breaking his spell, after which she turned into a spirit and crossed over into the next world.
