Eventually, Fram, son of Frumgar, managed to slay him, and afterwards his treasure hoard was divided up between Fram's people (who would go on to become the people of Rohan), and the Dwarves who had originally owned the treasure. Among the treasures recovered was a Horn that would later be used by the Hobbit Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck. |
