~ Schwick to Courage regarding his mysterious creature |
Schwick's Pet is a minor antagonist in the Courage the Cowardly Dog series, only appearing as the secondary antagonist of "Courage in the Big Stinkin' City". It is a monster of some sort owned by Schwick.
The creature is trapped by a lock that secures a mousehole-shaped door in Schwick's rehearsal room. There are piles of bones that surround the hole and various skeletons elsewhere within the room as well as the word "HELP" written in the dust on the window. The pet is never seen onscreen and very little information is disclosed about what exactly it is. What is known is that it eats its victims, leaving nothing but bones. Towards the end of the episode, Schwick unlocks the door, allowing the monster to go on a rampage. It consumes Eustace during the episode.
Trivia[]
- Some people have a hypothesis that the Violin girl is this monster, but the fact that the buildings which contain both different characters are unrelated, are a fair distance away from each other and the mousehole is too small debunks the theory.
- Others speculate it to be the Intruder, a blobbish omnivorous creature from the Toonami (programming block on Cartoon Network) event of the same name.
