The Scorponoks are minor antagonists in Transformers Rise of the Beasts. They belong to both Predacons and Terrorcons factions.
Biography[]
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts[]
A horde of Scorponoks are sent by the Unicorn to retrieve the Transwarp Key on Planet Maximals. They attack Apelinxs, almost getting the Transwarp Key, but it is recaptured by Optimus Primal. Optimus Primal, with his physical strength, managed to kill the Scorponoks, but he was ordered by Apelinxs to immediately retreat from the Scourge's pursuit.
Later on, leading up to the final battle, Unicron creates a horde of Sweeps and Scorponoks to hinder the Autobots and Maximals, prevent them retrieve the Transwarp Key. In the battle, Optimus Prime managed to destroy the Transwarp Key, which destroyed all the Sweeps and Scorponoks troops in process. However, the wasn't marked the last appearance of them, as Unicron still have donor sparks.
Appearance[]
At their name implies, Scorponoks resemble scorpions. They're cybertronian arachnids whom featuring six eyes, two sets of claws, six legs, and one stinger on their tails.
