Scrapper is a supporting villain in the Transformers franchise. He is a member of the villainous Decepticon group known as the Constructicons who formed one of the parts of Devastator. His alt mode is a front-end loader.
Generations 1
In the original Transformers series, Scrapper is the leader of the Constructicons. In the original series, he transforms into a front-end loader & forms the right foot of Devastator. He is portrayed to be very arrogant.

Transformers Animated
Scrapper as he appears in Transformers Animated
This incarnation of Scrapper is different from that of his G1 counterpart. In Transformers Animated, he is an Allspark mutation created by Bulkhead & is the brother of Mixmaster. He transforms into a futuristic excavator as opposed to transforming into a front-end loader. He enjoys drinking oil & is fond of red sports cars. Prior to becoming a Decepticon, he is painted yellow & black before becoming green & purple.

Scrapper in the live action film series
Scrapper appears in the live-action film series of the Transformers. In this one, Scrapper transforms into a Caterpillar 992G front-end loader & forms the right arm of Devastator. A Decepticon named Scrapmetal whose robot mode resembles Scrapper but transforms into a Volvo EC700C crawler excavator, who was later killed in order to revive Megatron. A different incarnation of Scrapper who has nothing to do with this version appears in the game adaptation of the first film, transforming into a forklift.
Plot
Scrapper debuts in the second film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. He is portrayed as a minor villain, where he is seen amongst Starscream's Decepticon group consisting of Long Haul, Rampage, Mixmaster, Ravage & Bonecrusher (or presumingly a lookalike drone) searching for Sam Witwicky & Mikaela Banes. He is briefly seen in only 10 seconds trying to crush both of them with his mace after the two were exposed out of their hiding place. He, alongside Long Haul, Bonecrusher & many other Decepticons are killed in an airstrike.
Another Scrapper who didn't transform into robot mode was briefly seen forming the right arm of Devastator before being killed by a railgun.
Scrapper (or presumingly a lookalike drone) was briefly seen in the third film Transformers: Dark of the Moon in the Battle of Chicago, where he is the last Decepticon to be killed by Optimus Prime before fighting Sentinel Prime.
Trivia
- In an original draft of the original Transformers G1, Scrapper was supposed to be named "Gravedigger". He however undergoes this name in the Japanese version. Also, another minor Constructicon was also named "Gravedigger" & this Gravedigger is the brother of Bonecrusher..
