The Screen Fiend is the main antagonist in the in-universe story "Phone Mo" from Amphibia. It's a creature that stalks and kidnaps everyone watching a video containing it, imprisoning them and forcing them to laugh at its cuteness so that it would attract more viewers.
Appearance[]
In its cute form, the Screen Fiend resembles a tiny tan fox, with huge green eyes, an orange and tan striped tail, white fluffy fur on its stomach and four tiny paws.
In its creepy (maybe true) form, it's much bigger and creepier. Its fur is then scruffy and dark purple, with jagged teeth, sharp claws, long a slimy tongue, and red glowing eyes. The left eye has a "pause" symbol in it while the right one has a "play" symbol.
Biography[]

The Screen Fiend (as well as the video inhabited by it) was created some time ago. It began imprisoning watchers (including the boy who was trapped in the video for 35 years).
The video with it eventually made its way to Anna's friends: Molly, Broadie and Haddie. After they watched the video, the Screen Fiend hacked into their phones and imprisoned them inside its habitat.
The monster eventually got its way into Anna's phone and came out of it. After getting toys thrown at by her, it transformed into its monstrous form, scaring the teen. When she claimed not to like it anymore, it shook its head to forget about it, making Anna realize the criticism is its main weakness. She then used it against the beast, causing it to explode and releasing its prisoners.
However, after the kids left, boba created after the beast's death hatched into mini versions of the Screen Fiend, thus continuing its reign of terror.
