Biography[]
Marvel's Spider-Man[]
When Spider-Man accepts the mysterious Screwball Challenge, she contacts him and forces him to dance to her whims, with the promise of sending him the location of a kidnapped victim. After finding both of her barcodes across the city, Screwball's fans attack Spider-Man in person and with bombs as a sign of love for her show and an attempt to get more views. Screwball gives Spider-Man the location of the kidnapped victim but he discovers her waiting for him instead - the threat was a lie but Screwball happily believes she has gained millions of followers because of the hero's involvement. As more fans attack Spider-Man, Screwball films the fight and him defeating them all before the police come to arrest them and her.
Despite being arrested, Screwball claims nothing will be able to stick against her as all her fans committed the crimes. The arresting policeman sadly agrees.
The Heist[]
Fresh out of jail, Screwball sets up another series of challenges for Spider-Man to complete which she records and streams online. This time, she has an army of Raft escapees at her beck and call, with all of them being loyal, rabid fans of hers.
With their help, Screwball sets up challenges involving the disabling of EMP emitters as well as trials meant to test Spider-Man's stealth and combat skills, and Spider-Man proves more than capable of beating them all. Screwball is undeterred and only focuses on the views she got thanks to Spider-Man's involvement, eagerly telling him to anticipate season two.
Turf War[]
A few weeks later, Screwball makes good on her promise and returns for season two of her online streams. Now things are escalating to where she's allowing innocent people to be attacked by her fans, while she also lets Hammerhead's dangerous thugs join in as a way to up the ante. Although Spider-Man completes this new batch of challenges and tries to be proactive by hunting down and arresting Screwball, she manages to give him the slip and taunts him with the knowledge that Season 3 is on its way.
Silver Lining[]
Another few weeks later, Screwball returns for another round of deadly challenges. Now, things have escalated to the point that she's willing to set up live bombs for the sake of raising the stakes. Again, Spider-Man proves more than capable of clearing her challenges, but this time he's more determined than ever to bust her. And when Screwball announces that she's throwing a wrap-up party, he decides to capitalize on it. Knowing that she's so narcissistic that she can't pass up the opportunity to make a physical appearance, Spider-Man locates the party and confronts her. After a long chase, Spider-Man finally catches Screwball and hands her over to the police. While being taken away, she arrogantly tries to get the cops to not bother her due to her "fame", not realizing that thanks to unambiguously committing crimes, she's doomed to finally serve some hard time as punishment for her antics.
Personality[]

~ Spider-Man summarizing Screwball's obsession with social media. |
Despite a somewhat super-villainous nature, Screwball is un-fondly regarded as a tiresome annoyance and a severe social media addict by most of New York. She's highly egotistical - her only concern in life is to gain as many followers as possible even at the risk of human life in her quest for constant validation from strangers who she believes care for her. Due to this, Spider-Man expresses pity over Screwball's constant terroristic actions as the only means to gain attention and notoriety without any foreseeable end to her constant crime wave.
Also, Screwball heavily uses social media slangs and terms such as "TTYL", "hashtag", and "LOL", as well as "S-M" as an abbreviation for Spider-Man.
Trivia[]
- Screwball is widely considered the most hated character in the entire game, where fans found her constantly annoying, which makes her a success, since she was designed to be an obnoxious internet "influencer."
