Biography[]
At the start of the second season, Sean is now an associate of the DiMeo Crime Family, where he begins working alongside Christopher Moltisanti, Matthew Bevilaqua and the rest of the Soprano Crew. Unlike, Matthew, however, who was mainly incompetent and disrespectful, Sean mostly only wanted to impress his superiors by rising the ranks of the DiMeo Family. Sean is also the cousin of Louis Gismonte, a convict who once worked with DiMeo capo Richie Aprile. Sean, Matthew and Chris worked in a law firm where they sold various shares to clients.
On the orders of Christopher, the two committed various robberies, however, most of the time, they would get into trouble with the police, which backfired their plans of becoming made in the Mafia. Both Matt and Sean also tried to impress DiMeo boss, Tony Soprano at the Bada Bing restroom but instead angered him, to which Sean instantly blamed Matt, showing his more egotistical and selfish side.
Eventually, Sean and Matt come up with the idea of gaining the recognition of Richie Aprile by murdering Christopher, due to Richie's disdain for Chris. Matt and Sean then pulled a drive-by shooting at Chris after he left a diner. Chris was shot by Sean various times as Matt exited the car and also started shooting at Chris. However, Chris soon pulled out his own gun and started shooting back. In order to get a better chance at finishing the job, Sean tries to leave the car, but fails due to his seatbelt. Just before Sean leaves the car, Chris shoots Sean in the back of the head, killing him instantly.
