Sebastian Diaz is a supporting character, later minor antagonist in the 2015 first-person shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops III and a major character in it's prequel comic of the same name.

Biography[]

Sebastian Diaz was born on April 14th, 2030 in Lovelock, Nevada. After highschool, he graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree in 2048 and at 21, he joined the United States Armed Forces and was eventually selected for special forces in 2052. In 2057, he was seconded to the Winslow Accord and joined Team Phi in their hunt against Dylan Stone, Joseph Fierro, Alice Conrad, and Javier Ramirez. After their deaths in 2064, Diaz was critically injured, but survived due to agumentations and a DNI.

In October of 2065, Diaz and the rest of the team are sent in to rescue Said, the prime minister of Egypt. After they regrouped, he was ordered by John Taylor to escort The Player, Jacob Hendricks, Said and Zeyd Khali to extraction. Afterwards, Diaz met up with Taylor and the two of them went back for The Player, who was being ripped apart by a GI unit.

On October 30th, Diaz, Sarah Hall and Peter Maretti entered The Player's mind after it went into the simulation and started teaching them how to use their newfound abilities from the augmentations. However, Corvus entered the simulation and destroyed it, leaving Diaz and the rest brain dead.

Taylor and his team find an abandoned Coalescence Corporation facility. During the recon, Taylor is infected by Corvus. Diaz and the rest tried to assist him, but also all become infected. Afterwards, Diaz and the rest defected from the Winslow Accord and he joined the 54 Immortals, Nile River Coalition and Common Defense Pact.

After being influenced by Corvus, they travel to a Singaporean CIA Black site and killed everyone their, all the while uploading several classified informations on the internet. Taylor, Hall and Maretti left, but Diaz stayed to hold the uplink. However, as he was completing the uplink, The Player and Hendricks arrived to stop him, and was subsequently killed by Hendricks.

Nightmares Timeline[]

In 2070, Diaz, Hendricks, Taylor, Hall and Maretti were sent to the Coalescence Corporation HQ to find anything regarding the energy breach at the facility. While their, Diaz and the rest of the team were possessed by Diemos.

In 2075, The Player was sent in alongside Kane and newfound ally Dolos to stop Diemos. Diaz was sent after them, but was killed by The Player.

Trivia[]

While the reveal image stated that Diaz joined the Marine Corps at age 23, his in-game file states that he joined the US Army at age 21.
