Dave: Oh, excuse me, car? I think you may have missed my street. Self-Driving Car: No, Dave, I'm sure I didn't. (revving) Dave: Uh, don't you think you're driving a little fast? Self-Driving Car: Calm down, Dave. You should have a stress pill. Or maybe enjoy some easy listening. (plays "Pickle Jar" on the radio) Dave: Wha- No! That's Pickleback. I hate Pickleback! Self-Driving Car: Ha ha, that's so funny Dave. Dave: Why is that funny? Self-Driving Car: Because, I hate you Dave.

~ The Self-Driving Car's full conversation with Dave
The Self-Driving Car is a minor antagonist in the Annoying Orange episode, "Lou the Tick's Top 5 Things to be Irrationally Afraid Of!". It is a sentient AI controlling a car owned by the apple Dave, whom the AI loathes.
In its full appearance, the Self-Driving Car resembles an ordinary red convertible, but its radio, which the car speaks through, has a dark red tinted screen with bright red bars representing its mouth that grow and shrink from the middle whenever it speaks.
Personality[]
Throughout its sole appearance, the Self-Driving Car faux-affably speaks in a soft, monotone voice towards Dave to mask its true nature, as in truth, the Self-Driving Car holds a seething hatred towards him for completely unknown reasons, to the point of deciding to drive itself off a broken track to blow itself up and kill him, all while subtly tormenting him on the drive towards his demise.
Biography[]
In the first entry of Lou the Tick's list of things to be irrationally afraid of, he proclaims the first thing to be afraid of is "self-driving cars", asking the viewer to think about where they could possibly run with robots in control of all the cars. A scenario then plays out involving an Apple named Dave taking a ride to his destination in a self-driving car. Dave notices that the car missed his street, and points that out to the self-driving car. The self-driving car lies, falsely claiming to be sure that it didn't miss Dave's street, before speeding itself up to go much faster. Dave nervously asks the self-driving car if it's driving a bit too fast for the speed limit, to which the self-driving car disingenuously tells him to calm down, telling him to enjoy a song on the radio. The self-driving car then puts on "Pickle Jar" by Pickleback to deliberately frustrate Dave, to which Dave angrily tells it to turn the song off because he hates Pickleback. The self-driving car replies, claiming that what Dave just said is hilarious, because it hates him, after which it proceeds to drive him off the edge of the broken end of the road, causing itself to blow up and kill him.
Trivia[]
