Sentibubbler is a minor antagonist in the French superhero cartoon Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, appearing as the titular main antagonist of the episode "Sentibubbler". He is a Sentimonster copy of Nino Lahiffe/The Bubbler created by Shadow Moth to capture Alya Césaire's family as part of his plan to blackmail her into betraying Ladybug.
Like Nino, he was voiced by Zeno Robinson, who also voiced Hunter in The Owl House, Carter Brown in Craig of the Creek, and Prince Andrias in Amphibia.
Appearance[]
Sentibubbler is an uncanny, carbon copy of the Bubbler. It has light brilliant arctic blue skin, dark amaranth eyes, and black circles around his eyes, along with a black spot above his left eye and a black spot below his right eye. He wears a luminous vivid red, arctic blue, and yellow elbow-length sleeved tunic with many parts of the suit being rounded like attached bubbles. Around his head, he has a red hood-like thing that features a red antenna on top with a red sphere. Also, he wears black boots, black elbow-length gloves with brilliant amaranth knuckles, and black pants. On his chest, he has an eye-like black and white circle with two dark gray tubes attached. The tubes connect to Bubbler's red, yellow, and blue bubble container, where he puts his bubble wand when he isn't using it. The bubble phallus has a blue handle and a yellow head with a long, oval hole.
Personality[]
When controlled by Shadow Moth, Sentibubbler acts as the villain's eyes and ears throughout the episode, delivering his instructions word-for-word. However, he also possesses a unique personality, one that is serious and willing to enforce Shadow Moth's will; this contrasts to the original Bubbler's laid-back and often disobedient attitude.
When controlled by Pegabug, Sentibubbler is more happy and eager to comply with her commands and returns the people he was holding hostage.
Powers and abilities[]
Sentibubbler has the exact same abilities as the Bubbler. His bubble wand weapon can create giant impenetrable bubbles with various powers and colors.
- Purple bubbles can be used to chase and capture people, turning green. Additionally, Sentibubbler can use them to project his face and give a message, and he can stand on them to levitate. He can turn these bubbles yellow, making them soundproof.
- Red bubbles are his offensive attack: he can throw them at his enemies, causing a fiery explosion on impact. Additionally, Sentibubbler can turn existing red bubbles into swarming green ones that attach to people and morph into a giant green bubble. This is used to catch both Ladybug and Cat Noir in one go.
He is unable to levitate in mid-air without standing on a bubble, but he can jump very high and can fly from one place to another leaving a trail of purple bubbles.
His bubbles can't be penetrated by limbs or by Ladybug's yo-yo. However, the shields Ladybug and Cat Noir create by rotating their weapons do offer some protection. Additionally, the bubbles can be blown away by air currents and can be burst by Cataclysm and the Miraculous Ladybug.
His bubbles are rigid and transparent, allowing anyone outside them to see and hear what's happening inside. However, he can also apply an orange protective shield that soundproofs the bubbles so outsiders could not hear their prisoners.
However the bubbles can be penetrated by Cataclysm and the Miraculous Ladybug power.
Biography[]
Before the events in the episode he was created by Shadow Moth how wanted to blackmail Alya into betraying Ladybug. He appears in Alya's apartment as Shadow Moth calls Alya and tells her, how he has captured her loved ones in bubbles created by Sentibubbler. If she does not betray Ladybug he will send her loved ones into space. Sentibubbler also catches Alya's phone in a bubble so she can't communicate with Marinette who is also trapped in a bubble. Marinette can't transform into Ladybug in the bubble, because everybody around her then will know her secret. Sentibubbler and Shadow Moth is tricked by Alya, so she can transform into Rena Rouge. By creation different illusions she makes it possible for Marinette to transform into Ladybug. Then Ladybug quickly steels the coffee cup with the Amok which controls Sentibubbler. Sentibubbler sides Ladybug and agrees to free Alya’s family, but Shadow Moth erases Sentibubbler from existence, causing all the bubbles to disappear. Luckily Ladybug saves everybody from falling to the ground.
