The Sentinels are antagonists in the videogame Lego Marvel Superheroes. They are man-made machines with the goal of exterminating every mutant in the face of the Earth, making them enemies of the X-Men.
History[]
The Sentinels do not make an appearance during the main story, however, they can be encountered throughout New York while free roaming the city. They can be found at Columbus Circle, the Financial District and X-Mansion, and appear when the player steps in a circle of white light.
The Sentinels will only fight if the player decides to attack it. Once a Sentinel is destroyed, it will take some time before it can be summoned again at the same location.
Models[]
Lego Marvel Superheroes has two Sentinel models:
Sentinel: The standard giant Sentinel model, this is the version that can be summoned and fought. This type of Sentinel can generate energy beams from his hands and eyes, in addition to the capability of flight and instant mutant detection. It can only be destroyed by characters with specific abilities and spawns a handful of yellow studs once it's defeated.
Mini Sentinel: The playable version of the character, this model can also project energy beams, allowing it to destroy Gold Lego objects and cut Gold Lego shapes. Unlike his giant version, the Mini-Sentinel cannot fly.
