Sergeant Stinkbug is the main antagonist of the sixth Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot book, Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot vs. the Stupid Stinkbugs from Saturn.
Biography[]
Sergeant Stinkbug rules over the planet Saturn and is known as the most filthy of his kind. He becomes bored of Saturn's dark, stinky, dirty terrain and decides to locate another planet to dump junk on. Sergeant Stinkbug decides to kidnap and spy on Earth's leader. He swoops down to Earth and kidnaps Lucy, believing her to be the leader and interested in the supposed rubies in her possession, only to realize they are merely imaginary.
While Sergeant Stinkbug is holding Lucy, her Ricky, the Mighty Robot, and Jurassic Jackrabbits come to her aid. Sergeant Stinkbug, on the other hand, gathers a couple of his greatest stinkbug warriors and feeds them "Grow-Big Gumballs," causing them to enlarge.
The Mighty Robot fights them effectively at first, but Sergeant Stinkbug feeds them more Gumballs, increasing their size. Ricky eats the Gumballs after Fudgie and Cupcake steal them from under the stinkbugs' noses. He confronts and defeats the stinkbugs after he reaches their size. But he quickly understands that he still needs to get rid of his enemies. Then he notices that Lucy has consumed the last of the Gumballs (as she enjoys doing) and has grown far larger than everyone else.
She gathers the remaining stinkbugs, stuffs them back into the spaceship, and blasts them back to Saturn. Fudgie and Cupcake come across "Super-Shrinking Saltwater Taffy" and give it to the two cousins. They toss Sergeant Stinkbug in the slammer once they are back to normal.
