The Sewer Creatures are recurring antagonists in the Monica's Gang franchise. They are little creatures made of dirt and mud, created by Captain Fray to be his henchmen. They commonly appear as the secondary antagonists in the histories where Fray is the main antagonist Despite being overally stupid, the sewer creatures many times are actually very helpful in aiding Fray's schemes, either using disguises to foil the main characters, or even kidnapping people sometimes, despite always being defeated by the gang.
Biography[]
The Sewer Creatures are an army of Captain Fray's loyal henchmen, often aiding him in his evil plans to turn the world into a dirty place to him to rule. The most common way to they to help is fighting Monica, Jimmy Five, Smudge, and the rest of the gang, despite almost always being knocked down by Monica's super-strength. They also kidnap people to Fray frequently, like when they kidnapped Smudge's parents, because Fray wanted him to be his son. They also are show wearing disguises in multiple occasions, to different motives, normally to manipulate the main characters into doing something to Fray's will. Sometimes, however, they appear only as background character, serving only to fulfill the background space in the sewer scenarios.
Despite being very recurring characters, they are rarely seen in any Monica's Gang related work that is not the classic comics, not appearing actively in Monica Adventures, or the Graphic MSP, sometimes being absent even in the video games, with other characters serving as the role of Captain Fray's henchmen.
Personality[]
They are very dumb, yet loyal henchmen, that will do anything their master order. Despite this, they are more sympathetic and good humored than their master, sometimes even mocking Fray, despite this being rare, due to the latter's anger issues and violent behavior.
Despite that, they are still villains, and can be as mischievous as their master at times. Also, in earlier histories, they were more like stereotype mindless monsters, and din't had an actual personality.
