The Shadow Leeches are the supporting antagonists that appeared in the Karda Nui arc in the BIONICLE series. They are actually the Kraata who were mutated and were created by Chirox, Mutran and Tridax as they were used by the Brotherhood of Makuta as weapons to drain the other beings of their morals and inner light.
History[]
The Shadow Leeches are Kraata which were created by Chirox, Mutran and Tridax after they are being mutated. Then, Tridax created the Tridax Pods that can hold the Shadow Leeches inside and can be launch against the enemies. The creatures also possessed the ability to drain the victims' inner light as the Brotherhood of Makuta decided to use them as weapons. Mutran then was ordered to create the Shadow Leech Hive to store and breed the Tridax Pods.
Eventually, all the Shadow Leeches were destroyed when Lewa, Pohatu and Kopaka destroyed.
