Shadow Pits are minor antagonists in the 2012 video game, Kid Icarus: Uprising.
They are a race of copies that serve as clones of Pit. In service to the Chaos Kin, the Shadow Pits serve as the original minions to be affiliated with Chaos.
Appearance[]
They have the same appearance as the real Pit with the exception that their bodies are entirely in pitch Black and possessed glowing red eyes. Each one of them is equipped with the shadow version of the weapons consisting of a First Place, a Violet Palm, EX Cannisters and Standard Orbitars.
Biography[]
After having been released and took control of Palutena's Army, the Chaos Kin manages to create copies to expand its army within the Chaos Vortex with the addition of clones of Pit named the Shadow Pits. Given purpose to serve as the Chaos Kin's versions of Pit, the Shadow Pits act as the guardians of the air to protect the leader of anyone gets too close to their creator.
After the Chaos Kin loses control of Palutena, it manages to capture her soul and take her back into its realm where Pit and Dark Pit would follow it back home to stop the creature. Pit comes closer to the Chaos Kin where the Shadow Pits emerge to protect the Chaos Kin. They used each of their weaponry to try to stop Pit from getting closer to the Chaos Kin. Pit manages to shoot at them and continue his pursuit to follow and injure the Chaos Kin before taking the chance to follow and defeat it on ground with Dark Pit helping him.
After the Chaos Kin's presumed demise and there are no more Shadow Pits, this is shown that they are extinguished.
Trivia[]
- While the copies in Chaos technically are the Chaos Kin's minions, the Shadow Pits serve as the original main units to be encountered though they are only encountered in the air battle.
