The Black Warriors (in Japanese: ブラック・ウォリアーズ) are an evil criminal organization featured in the Double Dragon series, serving as the main antagonistic faction to the Lee brothers in first two arcade games and a minor enemy faction in the third game. Because of the differences between the arcade and console versions of the games, particularly the Famicom/NES versions, the exact nature of the gang and its roster, tend to vary. This organization consists of about 55 members.
In the English localization of Double Dragon II: The Revenge for the NES, the gang were renamed the Shadow Warriors (originally written as a separate unnamed organization in the Famicom version). This name was also used for the gang in Super Double Dragon and Double Dragon Advance, as well as in the Double Dragon TV series and the tie-in Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls fighting game. In the English language manuals for Double Dragon II and Super Double Dragon, they're referred to as the Black Shadow Warriors.

Skullmageddon's gang is never given a name in the game, although a press release by Majesco identifies them as the Black Dragon Clan. In the trailer for the Japanese localization of the PS3 version, they're called the Black Shadow Clan.
