Shakalaka are Lynians introduced in Monster Hunter 2.
Physiology[]
The Shakalaka are tiny, green-skinned humanoids. Their actual faces are concealed by the mask they always put over their heads.
Abilities[]
It is important to remember that Shakalaka are extremely swift and capable of poisoning a hunter without much thought. When they assault, they are a little awkward, but they can also have sleep and bounce bombs. They are known to occasionally drop "shiny"—a bogus, explosive prize. When vanquished, they will burrow underground, leaving their masks behind for carving, just like the Felyne and Melynx. They can survive in a variety of settings because of their intellect.
Behavior[]
Living in big tribes and working under the direction of the King Shakalaka, Shakalaka are gregarious animals. Seldom have they been observed to infiltrate human society.
Habitat[]
It is well known that Shakalaka live in a wide range of habitats. In the Great Forest, a Shakalaka town has been found.
