Shamo Doubler (シャモダブラー Shamo Daburā, lit. Gamecock Doubler) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Gavan who appears in episode 15. He is a gamecock-like Doubler who helps Makuu capture and assassinate Gavan to celebrate the 26,000th anniversary of the founding of the Beast Planet Empire.
He was voiced by late Eisuke Yoda, who also voiced Volcano Mask General Magman in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Shine in J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, Führer Taboo in Dai Sentai Goggle V, and Lu-Long, Parchis, Demost and Silver Shark in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya. His human form was portrayed by late Shingo Hiramitsu.
Biography[]
Since it's the 26,000th anniversary of the founding of the Beast Planet Empire, Makuu chose to hunt down and kill Gavan as a "special offering" to Don Horror. While Retsu went to the hospital to fetch a doctor so he could help a little girl named Chiyo who is contracted with fever, the "doctor" and his "staff" captured him and brought him to the "surgeon doctor" (who is actually Shamo Doubler in disguise) where he was tortured by getting crushed by spikes. However, Retsu managed to escape from the Doubler and Makuu soldiers where he ended up in Makuu Space where he was hunted down and pursued by Makuu soldiers.
The only way to escape is to defeat the Doubler first, so Retsu transformed into Gavan. After Gavan defeat the Crushers with his Dimension Bomber and Spiral Kick, the Doubler attempt to threw his bladed poles at Gavan before they fought. Don Horror then communicates the Doubler through the sky to encourage him to kill Gavan to bring his head for the anniversary of the Beast Planet Empire's founding. The Doubler then brought back three of BEM Kaiju, the Shako Monster, Oomadako Monster, and Goat Monster, against Gavan, but only for them to be annihilated by Silver Beam. The Doubler and the jet fighters are firing at him, which prompts Gavan to call upon Dol to destroy them. The fight continues, with Gavan finished him off by destroying the Doubler with Gavan Dynamic.
