After the Builders return from Khrumul-Dun to the Isle of Awakening, they were greeted by Lulu, the builders from Furrowfield, and to their surprise, Shane and his right-hands. At some point, the Isle of Awakening was suddenly attacked by the Children of Hargon, with Shane being the leader who revealed his true nature to them and intended to kill the Builder. After defeating the first few waves of monsters, the Builder and Malroth were forced to flee from the Isle of Awakening, but Shane foreseen this and sent a ship to catch them, sending them and the captain to Skelkatraz, the prison island of Children of Hargon. Despite this, they eventually managed to break out of the prison. Knowing the Shane would soon return, the Builder and Malroth headed to Moonbroke in order to learn how to build traps.

After they returned with their friends from Moonbroke, Shane soon tried to invade again and was angry about the Builder escaping the prison, saying how it wasn't part of his plan. Shane then sent his entire force to attack the Isle of Awakening and even finally decided to kill the Builder himself. In the end, Shane and his force were defeated due to the traps made by the Builder. Cursing his defeat, Shane praised Hargon and the Lord of Destruction with his last breath before dying and vanishing in blue mist.
