Biography[]
Sharon is a former Mossad agent with a tragic family background. After her father Earl died, her mother Tiffany killed herself, and her brother Doug died in a motorcycle accident in 2002. Her aunt Trisha saw psychiatric commitment around the same time. By unknown means and for unknown reasons, after the Silk Road Internet marketplace was taken down, she found an alliance of mercenaries-for-hire in the Internet and joined them as a explosives specialist. In the episode “Entropy”, she is credited with the 2015 Tianjin explosions, which killed 137 people. She was hired by Brian Cochran, the former NSA director who solicited her to kill an elite businessman, one of the victims, as retaliation for falling short on a bribe.
Agent Penelope Garcia, an FBI tech specialist, went through Internet criminal network channels to follow up on Giuseppe Montolo’s case, and she found evidence against the network without realizing it, the remaining group deciding to make her a target. The agents were closing in on the group, as to rescue a hostage, Zac Rubenis was shot, Barry Plyman killing himself to avoid surrender. Approaching an endgame, Sharon and Adams knew they had to prepare for the agents, so they arranged a setup when Agent Spencer Reid poses as a client to solicit Adams, meeting at the Harry & Glenn’s Grill Bar. Sharon already infiltrated the nearby gas lines, rigging them with explosives and being ready to set them off in a mass murder-suicide as leverage in case things go awry.
Adams holds Reid at gunpoint under the table, making the agents she can identify leave the premises. When she knows there’s more backup, so reveals Sharon is with her and will set off the charges she prepared if Adams doesn’t get a clear getaway. Agents Tara Lewis and Derek Morgan, who realized the bomber’s a woman, spot Sharon and nonchalantly act like they’re about to leave. They surprise Sharon by grabbing her phone from her, smacking her head on the counter she’s sitting at, and arresting her immediately. Adams takes Reid hostage, but he and Morgan diffuse the situation to get Adams to surrender. Sharon is incarcerated shortly after.
