The SharpClaw Tribe are the main antagonists of the 2002 video game, Star Fox: Adventures.

They are an organization of militaristic theropods who were led by General Scales on his conquest to conquer Sauria. After Scales went under the influence of Andross, they seek the advantage by stealing all the SpellStones, scattering the Krazoa Spirits and having their efforts to conquer Sauria even at the cost of jeopardizing the planet which threatens the safety of the Lylat System.

The main SharpClaws in the tribe were voiced by Dean Smith while the BribeClaws were voiced by Chris Sutherland and the Sentries were voiced by Ben Cullum.

Biography[]

Past[]

The SharpClaws were originally inhabitants of one of Sauria's moons before it looses it orbit and crashes onto Sauria. The result impact would eventually become Moon Mountain Pass and the SharpClaws mutated to become powerful but also barbaric tribe. Under leadership of General Scales, he was determined to conquer Sauria countless times but each time he tries, the other tribes manage to thwart his plans for world domination.

This goes on until one day, Scales catches the eye of Andross and granted enough power for his army to be much more organized than before. From the usage of tactics and the craftsmanship of technology presumably from both Venomian and Krazoa technology, the SharpClaws initiated a full-scale assault, weakening the other tribes, taking the SpellStones away from the Force Point Temples, imprisoning several members of the tribes and almost all the GateKeepers (with the exception of the Quiet ThornTail who was spared to not say anything) and established base of operations on each separated chunk of the now torned apart planet. At the Krazoa Palace, the SharpClaws managed to assault the EarthWalker last line of defense, killing a majority of them and leaving behind the wounded to die on the other side of the palace, taking full control of the other half.

Star Fox: Adventures[]

Even though the SharpClaws defeated the EarthWalkers at the Krazoa Palace, they managed to send in a distress signal before their loss, attracting the attention of both Star Fox and Krystal to come to the planet. With Krystal imprisoned by Andross, Fox steps in to save the planet as he battles his way through the SharpClaws. The SharpClaws tried to stop Fox from releasing the prisoners and retrieving the SpellStones back to the Force Point Temples, but failed as it resulted to the planet to stop cracking, leaving Fox with one more option to find and retrieve the remaining Krazoa Spirits.

During the final test in a battle between Fox and Scales, Andross reveals himself declaring that he no longer needed him and that his power-hungry ego led to his downfall. From this going on, three SharpClaws emerge showing that his own forces had enough of his abuse turning against him with one grabbing his belt when Scales was forced to release the final Krazoa Spirit. Following the third defeat of Andross and the end of Scales's reign of terror, the SharpClaws celebrate their liberation at the Krazoa Palace and the restoration of Sauria with the same SharpClaw showing his gratitude still holding Scales's belt as a trophy.

Star Fox: Assault[]

When Sauria was in danger yet again this time by the Aparoids, the SharpClaws make their stand to unleash their forces this time to keep the planet safe from the invaders. As the invasion progresses, the SharpClaws fought against the Aparoids in everything they got but were no match for them as they have been defeated and presumably went to extinction.
