Shawn Gillmer is a supporting antagonist in the third season of the CW show The 100.
He was portrayed Shaine Jones.
Personality[]
Gillmer was a loyal follower and henchman of Charles Pike in Arkadia. He felt, like his superior, a great hatred for the Grounders and let off steam on them, not hesitating to confront Lincoln on several occasions and even to throw a stone at him in the head.
Biography[]
Shawn Gillmer is present in Arkadia at the Mount Weather memorial and insults Lincoln and says he shouldn't be there. He then causes a riot and throws a stone in the face of the Grounder. Gillmer is then part of the group of Arkadians who leave to attack a Grounder village but are intercepted by guards and Lincoln who disarms Gillmer. After which, he, Pike and his other followers are stopped by Abby and Kane, however the people encourage Pike to become chancellor, convinced by his ideals.
This is how Pike easily becomes Chancellor and has his faction liberated, now taking power over Arkadia. Gillmer later lets Jaha enter the camp but, wary of Nato a native who attacks her, he shoots him, killing him. In the medical wing, Pike orders the sick Grounders to be arrested and Gillmer confronts Lincoln a second time, preventing him from doing anything. However, he was quickly overpowered on the ground and Lincoln was knocked down and locked up.
Gillmer sits at the river with Hannah, Monty's mother collecting soil samples. They then notice a child they are chasing but he is saved, hidden by Octavia in the forest. Later, Pike, Gillmer and his men are dragged into a trap to be delivered to Polis. Gillmer is then knocked out and then killed by Octavia who stabs him, justifying that the "blood must have blood".
