| ~ Sheila after becoming a Deadite |
Sheila is a minor antagonist from Army of Darkness, the third film in the Evil Dead. She was the girlfriend of Ash Williams in the film, only to briefly become a Deadite.
She was played by Embeth Davidtz, who later played Kalina Oretzia in Thir13en Ghosts and Miss Honey in Matilda.
Sheila is the sister of one of King Arthur's fallen knights, and when she first encountered Ash, she despised him, as she believed that he was one of Henry the Red's men. After it was shown that Ash is the Chosen One, transported to the Middle Ages to fight evil, Sheila eventually became smitten with him. She became heartbroken after Ash preferred to go back to his own time after acquiring the Necronomicon, rather than fight against the returning dead and Evil Ash, who were resurrected due to Ash fumbling the phrase "Klaatu barada nikto," which would have allowed him to acquire the book safely. After walking away from Ash, Sheila was captured by a Flying Deadite.
Sheila encountered the revived Evil Ash, who grabbed Sheila and made out with her. As a result of the kiss, Sheila turned heel and became a Deadite, and in her introduction to the rest of the army, Sheila embraced being a villainess and gave an evil smirk before joining Evil Ash in the battle. She later appeared to Ash and distracted him by appearing in her human form, causing him to crash his makeshift vehicle. Sheila attempted to kill Ash with a spear, only for Ash to toss her down the pit. Later on, the evil Sheila again attacked Ash, while stating that he once found her beautiful. Ash sent Sheila hurtling over the roof, and after Evil Ash and the Deadites were defeated, Sheila (who survived the fall) returned to her human form and reunited with Ash.
