Shenda Mol was a minor antagonist of the canon Star Wars novel Master & Apprentice.
A member of the reptilian Falleen species like Prince Xizor, Mol worked as a bounty hunter. Even for the Falleen Mol was noted for fast reflexes and sharpshooting ability. She was notorious for collecting on her bounties in manners that caused a lot of innocent deaths. These included destroying passenger vessels, setting off bombs in public areas, or deploying biological agents. Mol set a goal for herself of killing one person of every age from birth to 200. The ages of her victims ranged from four days old to over 160 years old. Mol was believed to have killed tens of thousands of individuals during her career.
Some years before Jinn's mission to Pijal, the Jedi Order dispatched the Jedi Master Dooku and his padawan Qui-Gon Jinn to lead a strike team in tracking down Mol and bringing her to justice. The team tracker her to Numidian Prime. While other members of the team were able to take care of Mol's followers, Dooku and Jinn went to capture Mol. When the two Jedi were separated Mol captured Jinn and was about to kill him when Dooku intervened. Dooku was furious to hear her boasting about all the killing she had done along with her intent to harm his padawan. Foreshadowing his future as a Sith, Dooku used force lightning to incapacitate Mol and would have likely killed her had not Jinn convinced his master to stop. Mol was left shaking on the ground until medical help could arrive.
After her capture and conviction at trial, Mol was sent to the Republic prison on Stygeon Prime. Greatly disturbed over Dooku's actions, Jinn reached out to the Jedi Rael Averross to talk about the incident. Averross tried to reassure Jinn that Dooku had been scared for him and lost his temper, but Jinn replied that he felt Dooku was close to the dark side. Dooku, however, did not fall to the dark side until after Jinn's training as a Jedi Knight was completed, focusing on controlling his emotions instead to keep from losing control again.
