Shikabanen is a lamprey-themed and the first of the Action Commanders sent out by Zangyack to invade the Earth after the failure of the Great Legend War.
He was voiced by Tetsuharu Ota.
History[]
Shikabanen led dozens of Non-commissioned Officers Sugormin and hundreds of Gormin and started slaughtering innocent civilians. He and his guard surrounded a group of students and their teachers, sadistically taunting them until the Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger showed up, their presence was revealed to him when he was shot by Captain Marvelous as he prepared to kill a teacher with his gun. He recognized the rogues as pirates with bounties on their heads. Marvelous' teammates mocked him, outraging him, he asked if they knew what Zangyack does to their enemies. Marvelous replied that they did, but his team smashed things they didn't like, saying "That's what being a pirate is all about".
The team then changed into their Ranger forms and engaged his Gormins in battle, they fought well but soon noticed that they were coming at them in swarms, so decided to take them on with a new form, so they got out their Ranger Keys and changed into the Himitsu Sentai Goranger, the first Super Sentai team formed on Earth. The Gokaigers used the GoRanger Hurricane attack against the forces. As they were surrounded they changed again, this time into the Samurai Sentai Shinkenger for brief time until changing into the Mahou Sentai Magiranger, this allowed them to destroy all of the Gormin, leaving Shikabanen the last man standing. He fired at them, they changed back into their Gokaiger forms and slashed at him with their Gokai Sabres. They formed up, using Gokai Sabres to execute a Final Wave which destroyed the Action Commander.
Superhero Taisen[]
However, he is revived in Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen as a member of Dai-Zangyack. Later in the movie, they united with Dai-Shocker to fight the army of Kamen Riders and Super Sentai. He is seen being slashed through by ShinkenPink, and being ganged up by Kamen Rider Faiz and Go-On Green.
Trivia[]
- Shikabanen is the first Action Commander to appear.
- Shikabanen is the only Action Commander who is not grown after he is defeated, the first Action Commander to be grown is Bongan, the second Action Commander.
- Shikabanen bears a slight resemblance to both the Gormin and Sugormin.
