Shikake Beast (シカケビースト Shikake Bīsuto, lit. Device Monster) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Sharivan who appears in episode 15. It is a chameleon-like Makai Beast who helps Madou in kidnapping Tsukiko Hoshino and threatening her adopted brother Gavan into giving out the data and information of the Hoshino Space Cannon for their plans.
It is voiced by late Eisuke Yoda, who also voiced Volcano Mask General Magman in Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, Shine in J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, Führer Taboo in Dai Sentai Goggle V, and Lu-Long, Parchis, Demost and Silver Shark in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya. While disguised as Tsukiko Hoshino, its portrayed by Aiko Tachibana.
Biography[]
When Den and Lily were attacked by Madou in an unknown fortress while pursing for Gavan, the Shikake Beast appears and attacked them with its clubbed staff. Den transformed into Sharivan and attacked the Makai Beast back, which made it later retreated to Makuu's former fortress, the Demon's Head Island.
The Shikake Beast already disguised itself as Tsukiko Hoshino while the real deal is nowhere to be seen before Retsu arrived on the island as he gave himself up to Madou. Retsu then rescued "Tsukiko" from their grasp, but only for the Madou to revealed they still hold Tsukiko hostage which allowed the Shikake Beast to revealed its disguise to Retsu and beat him up once he let his guard down before it brought him back to their base where he was tortured into revealing the Hoshino Space Cannon's laser amplification device. After Den and Lily arrived on the island to save Retsu and Tsukiko, Den transformed into Sharivan and fought against the Shikake Beast and the rest of Madou.
After they're dragged into Genmu World, the Shikake Beast went to attack Sharivan with its extendable tongue before they fight with their respective weapons. Finally, Sharivan finished the Makai Beast off with Sharivan Crash.
