Shinjiro Shinozaki is a swordsman who wields the Amazing Siren Wonder Ride Book to transform into Kamen Rider Falchion and one of the two secondary antagonists of Kamen Rider Saber: Trio of Deep Sin.
He is portrayed by Satoshi Hashimoto, who is better known as the voice of Terry Bogard and Kim Kaphwan in the Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters series.
Biography[]
Past[]
Shinjiro Shinozaki was the father of Rintaro Shindo and, in his own words, a hero who fought to protect others. He would eventually leave his family in order to protect them and travel the world. He would later become involved in one of the Sword of Logos's battles and saw many people be sacrificed in order to win it, resulting in him coming to hold the belief the swordsmen needed to be eliminated.
Plot to Erase the Swordsmen[]
After receiving the Amazing Siren Wonder Ride Book from Mamiya, Shinozaki began using its power to become Kamen Rider Falchion and erase the swordsmen from the memories of all those who knew about them. After numerous swordsmen were erased, Sophia would send Rintaro Shindo and Tetsuo Daishinji, the few remaining swordsmen in the guild, to locate and stop the new wielder of the Mumeiken Kyomu. The two tracked down Shinozaki as Falchion, but before Tetsuo had a chance to transform Shinozaki erased him from Rintaro's memories and caused him to vanish from existence. Shinozaki then detransformed from Falchion and revealed himself to Rintaro, revealing that he was his father and explaining how he came to hold his beliefs. He then revealed that he was the last person remaining who still remembered Rintaro and challenged his son to fight him.
Rintaro would accept his father's challenge and go to confront him later on. The two assumed their Rider forms to do battle, during which Shinozaki forced him to see visions of the many people killed during the Sword of Logos's battles. However, Rintaro exclaimed that as a swordsman that was his burden to bear before becoming Tategami Hyoujukuu and defeating his father. Fatally wounded, Shinozaki complimented Rintaro's growth before passing on, resulting in Rintaro's disappearing immediately after. However, after Mamiya undid his actions with the Mumeiken Kyomu, Shinozaki and all of the swordsmen would return to existence.
Shinozaki would later pass by Rintaro as he was walking with Mei before turning around and looking back at him, hinting that the two might reconnect in the new timeline.
