Severing Ninja Shiransu is a minor antagonist of Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger, appearing in Episode 6 as the primary antagonist. He was a rabbit/scissor-themed member of Jakanja's Puppet Ninja Corps and a servant of Sargain.
Shiransu was voiced by Yasuhiko Kawazu.
Biography[]
A rabbit-themed Chuunin robot. Severing Ninja Shiransu was able to cause conflicts between people by energy slashing between them, severing the bonds that bind them. Shiransu first appeared on Tau Zant's centipede fortress and Sargain introduced his new soldier to his master. Both Sargain and Shiransu bowed to Tau Zant and then Tau Zant found the purpose for this new warrior. When Tau Zant decided to use the other plan of awakening the Evil Will in order to destroy the Earth and take over the universe, Sargain sent Shiransu to destroy Yousuke and Kouta, while Nanami was searching for the mysterious scroll.
Shiransu attacked the city and started making people fight each other by severing their bonds with his abilities. While Nanami was searching for the enigmatic scroll, Oboro tasked Yousuke and Kouta to stop the monster from furtherly hurting and harming the people in Tokyo. Yousuke and Kouta arrived to the city and witnessed how multiple people were fighting each other on the streets. Later the duo entered a building and followed the fighting people including the police officers and a bride and groom. In an Asia-Oceana Commerce Friendship Conference, there was a meeting of foreigners. They spoke English and talked about delicious sushi they ate. Shiransu entered and forced them to fight. The monster then leaves and the boys entered.
The two boys wrapped ropes around the monster. Shiransu then blasted them down. Yousuke and Kouta fell to control of his spell and started fighting each other. Shiransu blasted them with his abilities and the boys snapped out of his control and fought the evil alien ninja. The two Rangers eventually defeated and blowed up the monster by using their Super Nintitsu, greatly upsetting Sargain.
Later, when the dudes reunited with Nanami, Wendinu revived and enlarged Shiransu by using her Copy Giant mechanism and trio summoned their mechas and formed Senpuujin to fight the evil ninja. Sword Slasher was ineffective against the enemy's scissors. A new medal was sent by Oboro to Nanami to make the Tortoise Hammer. The Rangers used the Tortoise Hammer, which destroyed the evil ninja, by blowing a hole through its torso.
