Biography[]
Prior Hidden Inventory Arc[]
Though not much is known about Shiu Kong's life before his life as a mediator in 2006, it is known that he is a Korean National and former detective who now is living in Japan. It is also revealed he could see curses, he doesn't possess the ability to become a sorcerer. He has been knowing Toji for a decent 10-year period, even knowing Megumi and Toji's first wife.
The Contract between the Cult and the Sorcerer Killer[]
In 2006, Shiu Kong mediated a assassinating-contract between Time Vessel Association and Toji Fushiguro to kill Riko Amanai, the chosen girl to be the next Time Vessel in exchange of the reasonable price for the Sorcerer Killer. Shiu and Toji had a slight conversation which in Shiu called Toji a "Zen'in" though he was quickly corrected by Toji who said he now goes by "Fushiguro".
Later, Shiu met with Toji at a boat racing contest, where the two talked about the large sum of money that Toji spent to wear down Satoru Gojo, mentioning that he also needed to report back to his clients and concerned about the skeptic for Toji. However, Shiu still said he's counting on Toji and asked how is Megumi before taking his leave, though Toji only asked who even is that.
Shiu later called Toji again while the Sorcerer Killer was eating takoyaki at a local restaurant. Shiu mentioned that the thirty million yen Toji spent was a service fee. Shiu also expressed his concerns about the scenarios where if other Curse Users kill Riko first then Toji's spending would go into waste but Megumi's father wasn't bothered. Toji quickly revealed his intentions to use weaker Curse Users to attack the Special Grade students, causing Gojo to activate Six Eyes 24/7 which has significantly weakened him, offering a free labor since no others could earn the bounty. Shiu realized that this would benefit them by making the two-day work to easily gather more Curse Users, even pushing Gojo's limits further. Toji quickly switched to the topic of if he could get another thirty million yen but Shiu quickly wanted a discussion about Toji's cut but he ignored it.
After Toji kidnapped Misato Kuroi, Toji demanded her killed but Shiu instead took her to Okinawa, creating a plan to allow Gojo's group to rescue Kuroi easily in order to create a false sense of safety and security.
After Toji mercilessly murdered Riko Amanai and delivered her body to Shigeru Sonoda, a representative of the cult. They discussed about the impact of this event to Master Tengen and the jujutsu world. Toji then invited Shiu for a meal, but the handler quickly declined, reminding that he would only occupy Toji in either business or in hell.
Sometimes later, Shiu Kong would meet up with Suguru Geto at the former Time Vessel Association headquarters and criticized the fallen hero's appearance, suggesting it should at least fit Geto's current role.
Appearance[]
Shiu Kong is a man of average build with short black hair that’s styled longer on the top than on the sides and back, complementing his dark eyes, thin eyebrows, and a barely-there mustache. He’s typically dressed in a standard black business suit and is often seen with a cigarette in hand.
Personality[]
As a mediator, Shiu always poses himself as a formal man with a gentle way of talking. However, he is also to be very strategic and cunning in certain situations as he kidnapped Kuroi and let the group to rescue her too easily in order to lower their awareness and caution, helping Toji in the progress. He also seems to have an almost-friendship relationship with Toji, as they knew each others for a decade and Shiu also expressed fond of Megumi, Toji's son, asking how the kid was.
