Shockwave is a minor antagonist in the 2018 movie Bumblebee. He serves alongside Soundwave as one of the two acting commanders of the Decepticons in Megatron's absence.
He was voiced by Jon Bailey, who also voiced Soundwave in the same movie and Soundwave in Transformers One.

Bumblebee[]
Shockwave and Soundwave lead the Decepticons in tandem, battling against the Autobots for control of Cybertron. At the start of Bumblebee, they lead a final assault against the Autobots. Shockwave was alongside Soundwave and the Seekers when Soundwave ordered the Decepticons to attack. Shockwave ordered the seekers to destroy the Autobots' launch pad in an attempt to thwart their escape. Several of the Autobots on the launchpad escaped despite its destruction. Optimus Prime, even surrounded by several Decepticons, managed to escape following the launchpad's destruction.
Appearance[]
Shockwave takes heavy inspiration from his Generation One counterpart, with a more modernized look. He is a Purple Decepticon with a cycloptic, yellow eye, black chest, white legs and purple body and head. He possesses a massive cannon located on his left arm.
