Shosai, also known as Kurobōzu, is a major antagonist in the third part of Jealousy's Book of the 2021 Roblox horror game The Mimic. He is one of the citizens of Yoki Town that is a (presumably exiled) member of the Kiiroibara Cult.

Appearance

Shosai resembles a tall bald old man with pale gray skin. He has black empty eye sockets, and his unique feature is his long stretchy tongue. He seems to be wearing a grey worn out yukata.

Biography

Jealousy's Book

He appears in the third part of Jealousy's Book alongside Takane and Kyogi. Shosai will chase Isamu when he is in sight but will stop chasing once Isamu and reached a shelter. Due to his height, it is impossible for Shosai to fit underneath.

Trivia

• His name derives off a Japanese urban legend named Kurobōzu. He is often mistaken for being Akaname, which it is not actually based on.
• As of now, Shosai and Nagisa are the only characters with a long tongue.
• He is the only male hostile entity in Yoki Town.
• The kanji in his name (詳細) means "in depth, in great detailed" in English.
• Shosai is confirmed to have been exiled from the cult, this was first figured out by theorists when they took note of the kanji letter on Senzai's drawing of Shosai, meaning "exiled". It was later confirmed by a lore writer named Itsuki on discord.
