|~ Shou Mou's final words as he's killed by General Ou Ki|
Shou Mou was a major antagonist in the historical seinen anime and manga series, Kingdom.
Shou Mou was a large and tall heavy-set man, being the tallest man amongst the commanders of Hou Ken Army and the second aside from the Great Heaven himself. He had no hair on his head except for a braided top knot nor any facial hair with small, slanted eyes. Shou Mou was somewhat fat as he had multiple chins, but this belied his destructive power on the battlefield. His large appearance led some to call him a pig as an insult.
Shou Mou was an arrogant and prideful man as he was proud of his own abilities. He had a very low opinion of the Qin as he called them "mountain monkeys" and openly believed himself stronger than either Ou Ki or Mou Bu. Shou Mou was also quick to say what is on his mind as he criticizes Ri Haku for his poor performance against Mou Bu and wondered about Hou Ken's lack of involvement in the opening days of the Bayou War, even questioning his appointment as a member of the Three Great Heavens as he went so far to state that name and prestige of the Great Heavens must be cheap if a man like Hou Ken is one. He was also shown to have some cunning as he put a decoy of Qin flags to lure out remaining stragglers from the defeated Kan Ou Army previously led by Kan Ou.
