Silly (also known as Silly the Clown) is a major antagonist from the Cyanide and Happiness franchise.
He is a treacherous and oppressive evil-clown-like shape-shifting alien entity from his home planet who seeks to kill or kidnap his preys for no reason and he is also the former archenemy of all the characters of the franchise.
He appears in "Dr. Silly", "Chef Silly", "Holy Toast" (while disguising himself as Jesus Christ), "Spaceman Silly", "Lights Out 5: The Grateful Dad", "The Tall Boys Get Arrested" and "Harry The Handsome Butcher: Part 5".
Personality[]
Despite his name, Silly is anything but stupid, even though he certainly portrays himself as a troublemaker.
Silly is very sadistic and aggressive, he tries to deceive a innocent as long as his victims are attracted to him, he is very oppressive and wants to kill or kidnap his human victims for his evil pleasure.
Like the Purple-Shirted Eye Stabber, Silly is a homicidal psychopath who kills his victims, except he kidnaps other victims to bring them back to his home planet for no reason instead of killing them.
Instead of befriending everyone, Silly reveals his true and evil nature to fool any innocents when he gets in his way.
When he disguises himself as Jesus in Holy Toast. He has developed a serious behavior, in order to attract his victims, he starves the hungry child who is looking for food until he manages to eat the burger, despite the prohibition of some jerks, while he has usurped the identity of Jesus to impose his fake religion and starvation on this hungry child who is in fact a fanatical heresy.
Before kidnapping his victims to bring them back to his home planet, Silly is a pervert, the sleazy example he sets spends his time harassing a spaceman on a quest to set foot on a planet, which makes him terrifying and antagonistic towards the spaceman.
Despite discovering his evil and murderous nature towards everyone, Silly proves to be extremely shady and treacherous, when one of his allies such as the Police chief is responsible for his police wickedness that will cause his downfall since he was kidnap many protagonists whether with the Tall boys, Harry the Handsome Butcher or Sad Larry.
It turns out that kidnapping people stems from losing his family on his home planet, and it made him lonely something that Sad Larry can really relate. After receiving a hug from the latter, he had a change of heart where everyone can enjoy Silly’s birthday party and the clown gave everyone their gift.
Appearance[]
Silly is very different from other known characters from the Cyanide and Happiness franchise. He is twice the size of a human being.
In his true form, he has a white clown suit with blue-turquoise buttons with a dark cyan colored skirt, unlike all of characters in the franchise, he has grey-cyan thick curved lines to represent arms and legs (while all the characters in the franchise have thin black curved lines as arms and legs), except he has white gloves adorned with four fingers (a thumb, an index, a middle finger and a ring finger) on his arms and red and white shoes on his legs. He has a very big white head with big blue-cyan lips in the shape of an upside down bell giving him the look of a bird's beak, which gives him an evil smile, thus possessing a teeth-infested jaws points with a small red tongue near its uvula, he is bald with curly cyan hair and unlike the other characters in the franchise, he is the first and also the only character to have eyes with white slender eyes (while all the characters in the franchise have a black dot as an eye).
Although he has shapeshifting powers, when he disguises himself as a doctor, Silly keeps his normal appearance, but he has a stethoscope and a headlamp on his head.
When he disguises himself as a chef, he has a white cook's apron with six dark cyan buttons, a cook's hat, and a dark cyan-colored mustache.
When he disguises himself as Jesus, he possesses the same appearance as the real Jesus Christ, except he has the dark cyan-colored belt and his squint look with his sharp teeth in his mouth.
When he disguises himself as a space man, he has the same appearance as the protagonist in the short, except that he has some parts of his appearance (his gloves, his red shoes and his dark cyan flower).
When he disguises himself as a policeman, he has a navy blue jacket (including with the curved lines of his arms and legs) with his three yellow colored flowers in the middle and a bade of pilce on the left, a blue policeman hat sailor with a yellow flower and he is armed with a truncheon.
Powers and Abilities[]
Nobody knows Silly, although he is known to be enigmatic and not originally from Earth. But he is known to be cunning, manipulative, deceitful and bossy, he can master levitation and thus superhuman strength, but most known he has his own shapeshifting powers (such as he disguises himself as Jesus to trick the hungry child to impose famine), he also has a mouth infested with sharp teeth to devour children alive like the hungry child or to use his mouth to create mist and use his tongue to make a smiley drawing, unlike the characters in the franchise, he glides the ground without moving his legs to move and he has the ability to make circus tricks like real clowns did, but his tricks are actually homicidal.

- Silly is based on classic depictions of homicidal "monster clowns" in media, with his core inspirations being Pennywise and the Killer Klowns.
- While the Warden and Flashlight Dad are considered as one of main antagonists of the franchise (the Warden is the main antagonist of the Prison Break saga and Flashlight Dad is the main antagonist of the Light Out saga), Silly has also done appearances in some shorts like Lights Out 5: The Grateful Dad, The Tall Boys Get Arrested or Harry the Handsome Butcher: Part 5. So his role is to consider as a major antagonist.
- Long before the events of the Planet Silly saga, fans of Cyanide & Happiness thought that the protagonists captured by Silly seek to intervene the plans, kill this evil clown for revenge and return to Earth to forgive the world of their innocences. But this has changed a lot since the events of the Planet Silly saga since the redemption of Silly since it is revealed that he was bored on his home planet and that he became the last of his kind, since Sad Larry finally discovered the cemetery of his deceased family to finally raise his plans and that Silly seeks to make a party towards all the captured protagonists rather than kill them alive.
- Long before his first appearance in the shorts Dr. Silly, we know too well how Silly became the last of his kind.
