Silver Banshee (DC Animated Universe)

Silver Banshee (real name Sioban McDougal) was a minor antagonist in the TV show Justice League Unlimited.

Biography[]

Silver Banshee is first seen alongside other supervillains in the episode "I Am Legion", as a member of Gorilla Grodd's newly established Secret Society.

She later reappears in "Chaos at the Earth's Core," where she accompanied Metallo to Skartaris to retrieve a large chunk of Kryptonite that is in the custody of Warlord and his allies. They also act Deimos' military advisors by supplying the dark wizard and his forces with technologically advanced weapons. During the battle for Skartaris, Silver Banshee is incapacitated by Green Lantern after he uses his power ring to gag her, but managed to escape during the pandemonium while Metallo gets captured.

Silver Banshee makes her final appearance in "Alive!". She is seen fighting on Grodd's side during his mutiny against Lex Luthor, and is struck from behind by Star Sapphire with her laser beam while trying to drain Heatwave with her sonic scream. Silver Banshee's fate is never shown though it is highly possible that Sapphire killed her as she is not shown among those frozen by Killer Frost or the survivors of Darkseid's explosion.
