Silver Cyclone: Then since Plan A is not viable, we move onto Plan B.
Scarlet Scarab: Plan B? But guys, you can't be serious about using Cyclone's bomb to wipe out their entire planet.
Blue Bowman: And why not?
Scarlet Scarab: Because after that, what other crime could possibly taste as sweet?
Silver Cyclone: The fate of their world will server as a warning to all others. Surrender, or be destroyed.
~ Silver Cyclone decides to destroy Earth-2 upon being told it can't be conquered.
Observation: Your spirit is stronger than most humans. Even when we found your hideout in the Ace Chemical plant, you fought valiantly. Ultimately, it was a futile gesture. But your psyche, though bent, did not break when faced with horrible disfigurement. You even managed to rally a pathetic ragtag group of heroes in a final stand against the Injustice Syndicate. And then, when all your allies fell, you still believed that you could somehow save this world. But all humans can be broken, and I intend to break you. Interrogative: Tell me what you know.
~ Silver Cyclone tortures Red Hood in front of his imprisoned allies.

Silver Cyclone is the main antagonist of the episode Deep Cover for Batman! from the show Batman the Brave and the Bold. He is the counterpart of Red Tornado from a dimension where normally villainous characters are heroes, but also vice versa. He is the second in command of the Injustice Syndicate.

Like his good counterpart, he was voiced by Corey Burton.

Biography[]

Background[]

Silver Cyclone was a robotic supervillain who eventually joined a criminal group known as the Injustice Syndicate, lead by Owlman, which took over their world of Earth-2, forcing heroes to go under the radar as the Justice Underground to resist them. The most prominent of these was a mysterious individual calling himself the Red Hood. The group tracked him down to his base in Ace Chemicals and hurled him into a vat of them, disfiguring him and damaging his mind. Despite this, the Red Hood remained steadfast in his goal to bring down the criminals, rallying a ragtag group of remaining heroes to take them down. A final decisive battle took place between the two, where the villains finally defeated the heroes and imprisoned all but Red Hood, who was forced to flee. Afterward the Injustice Syndicate fully conquered and controlled their world.

Deep Cover for Batman![]

Red Hood, having tested out the Phase Oscillator, a device that can travel to other universes, in attempt to get allies, was once again corned by the Injustice Syndicate. Cyclone demanded he hand over the device, but Red Hood tried to fight them off. During the fight, Scarlet Scarab forced Red Hood to drop the device and Silver Cyclone retrieved it while his allies took to beating Red Hood, but the latter managed to escape using a secret exit. Cyclone tells them group to leave him, as they had come chiefly for the Oscillator, planning to use it to travel to other worlds to conquer them. Meanwhile, Silver Cyclone devised a backup plan, a radiation based bomb that would wipe out all organic life on a planet should it be too strong to conquer.

After Owlman, secretly Batman in disguise, returned from Earth-2, he told them it was too formidable to conquer, with everyone having powers, to deter them from invading, but Silver Cyclone instead suggested using the bomb he had devised to wipe out the planet, serving as a warning to others.

As the bomb required an isotope of the Promethium element, of which there was only one sample in existence, they broke into a nuclear lab facility to acquire it. Cyclone warned them not to damage the container, as it would render the Promethium-90 isotope useless due to its short half-life. Batman attempted to covertly damage it, but they were interrupted by the arrival of Red Hood. Cyclone and the others held him off, but Batman intercepted and tackled him off the railing. Batman revealed he was actually from a parallel world. However, Cyclone and the Blue Bowman began to close in, forcing Batman to knock Red Hood unconscious to keep his cover. They then successfully retrieved the isotope.

Back at the base, with Red Hood captured, Silver Cyclone interrogated him for any information or possible "surprises" he'd managed to obtain from other universes prior to his capture, using a chair to electrocute him, torturing him in front of his allies. Red Hood seemingly complied, but was in reality feeding Batman directions to come and free him. Silver Cyclone deduced he was using coded messages to someone, Batman, and tried to kill him by blasting air into the vents in an attempt to have him shredded by the fans. However, he concluded this wouldn't stop Batman, so he rallied his comrades to stop Batman from freeing the Justice Underground from their cells. Despite their efforts, Batman managed to free them, leading to a battle between the two factions. During the fight, Red Hood punches the robot, causing him to drop the Phase Oscillator and allowing Hood to retrieve it and pass it to Batman, turning the tide and allowing the Justice Underground to defeat and imprison their foes, excluding Silver Cyclone. Cyclone decided to use the bomb, much to his allies' glee, only to remind them he doesn't have the Oscillator and thus cannot send it to Earth-2. Blue Bowman questions why he doesn't turn it off to avoid being blown to bits, but Cyclone reminds him the bomb is radiation based, and thus is only a threat to organic lifeforms, much to the former's horror. Silver Cyclone explains how he utterly hates humanity, and thus doesn't care if his or Batman's planet is reduced to a lifeless wasteland, as long as it is empty. Before he can finish, a dart from Red Hood pierces his head, blowing it off. Batman and Red Hood quickly work together to move the bomb to another world, which is revealed to be Earth-161, a zombie planet that is thus immune to the effects of the bomb's radiation, crushing Silver Cyclone's hopes of genocide.
