Initially a bright yet snarky young woman, Vanessa experienced friction with her mother, Julia, which was worsened by Vanessa's jealousy towards Wonder Woman, who came to live in the Kapatelis household.
When her mother was secretly killed by Veronica Cale, Vanessa blames Wonder Woman for it and joins Villainy Inc., who outfit her with techno-organic augmentations and transform her into Silver Swan so she can seek revenge in exchange for helping them resurrect Medusa. When the Gorgon subsequently betrays the group, Vanessa defects to Wonder Woman's side to help her kill Medusa.
She hurls Diana through the air at super-speed, and the princess ends the brawl by cutting Medusa's head off, freeing everyone turned to stone including Steve Trevor. Vanessa reconciles with Diana, redeeming herself in the end.
Powers and Abilities[]
Superhuman Strength: Silver Swan was able to go toe-to-toe with Wonder Woman.
Superhuman Durability/Stamina: She took a hit from Medusa, but still battled her with Diana like it was nothing.
Flight: With the help of her techno-organic suit's giant wings, Silver Swan was able to fly at great speeds.
Superhuman Sonic Scream: Due to the techno-organic virus taking over her body, Silver Swan was able to unleash a powerful sonic scream which was powerful enough send Wonder Woman flying and disorient Medusa for a long period of time. Her scream was also powerful enough to create explosions when they come in contact with their target.
